Change is necessary for business. Communication is critical to lead people through the transitions as you reach your desired change outcome. Today, businesses and agencies encounter non-stop change. Leaders and managers do the Quick Step in order to keep up. As a result, organizations and their teams experience stress, anxiety and often conflict due to miscommunication, lack of transparency, fear of the unknown, and a new way of doing things.

Understanding that each person experiences an internal and emotional journey as they adapt to the new change is crucial to managing and moving them to a new reality.

Learn strategies to minimize the conflict, improve communication and coordination, and reduce resistance.
  • Describe the difference between change and transition identifying three phases employees experience
  • Analyze an existing change effort in your organization and plot on a diagrams
  • Generate ideas for strategies to lead teams through the three phases of transition.
It felt like this session was very timely for a lot of people. I loved Pattie's presentation style and honestly the card she handed out is now on my desk. Helped me to see the changes we have currently and how best to handle. In the moment it really helped to change my way of thinking. Really enjoyed it.
