We offer businesses, their employees and work teams an online assessment tool, the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI) which assesses an individual’s behavior in conflict situations. This tool describes a person’s behavior along two dimensions:

  1. Assertiveness - the extent to which someone tries to satisfy their needs and concerns;
  2. Cooperativeness – the extent to which someone tries to satisfy the other person’s concerns
 
These two dimensions of behaviors define five styles or methods of dealing with conflict as seen below.
