Conflict Connections offers a spectrum of services to consumers and organizations to support them "manage conflict constructively in order to rebuild and maintain relationships" whether that be in the workplace, business partnership or within the family.

We encourage you to explore each of the service links which explains the service and how it might assist you or your organization. Conflict Connections utilizes an intake process with the client or client's organization to determine collaboratively the best service fit which may include a combination of services. Services are provided by Patricia M. Porter and her associates. References are available upon request.

  • CINERGYTM Conflict Coaching
    Conflict Connections, Inc. offers conflict coaching services which is a one-on-one process to assist individuals constructively handle a dispute, learn to approach and confront someone, or to examine and change conflict behaviors so that they are constructive. We deal with any situation whether be in the workplace with your boss, as the manager dealing with the difficult employee, the business partnership, or maybe it is dealing with the difficult family member.

  • Conflict Dynamics Profile®
    Conflict Connections offers individuals and organizations an opportunity to utilize the Conflict Dynamics Profile® which is an assessment instrument. It provides a powerful way to improve self-awareness of what triggers YOU in conflict situations and how you currently respond to the triggers. This instrument is often used in conjunction with conflict coaching and/or with teams.

  • Consultation
    Conflict Connections, Inc. offers conflict management consultation services to organizations. Often times, we get calls seeking guidance on the best approach to managing workplace "situations" involving departments, leadership teams and organizational partnerships. We can assist in analyzing the conflict and providing the appropriate service to address the issues.

  • Counseling & Critical Incident Stress Debriefings
    Patricia M. Porter is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas. Since 2002, she held licenses in Pennsylvania and Delaware and practiced as a therapist at the University of Delaware's Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP).  She is an Associate with Cohen & Associates in Houston, Tx providing Critical Incident Stress Debriefings (CISM) in the workplace.

  • Facilitation
    Conflict Connections, Inc. offers facilitation services to organizations and groups. Facilitation is an approach or process used in groups to stimulate thinking, problem-solve, collaborate, build teams, identify and analyze group issues, serve as a catalyst for transition and change, and planning for the future in addition to a myriad of other areas.
Patricia Porter is a visual practitioner or graphic facilitator. A graphic facilitator is one who uses visual charts as learning and thinking tools when working with groups brainstorm, problem-solve, analyze, learn new concepts, come to consensus, create a visual map, or capture information from an event. Generally, large-sized wall charts approximately 8-12 feet long are used within hearing and seeing distance of the participants.
  • Mediation
    Conflict Connections, Inc. offers mediation services on a variety of issues including workplace mediation, EEO mediation, disability mediation and family disputes. Generally, mediation is defined as a voluntary and confidential process in which a trained professional neutral, a "mediator," assists people in a dispute to communicate with one another, understand each other, and if possible, reach agreements that satisfy the participants' needs. Patricia Porter is a Credentialed Distinguished Mediator - Texas Mediator Credentialing Association (TMCA).

  • Public Speaking
    Conflict Connections, Inc. presents and speaks on a variety of conflict resolution topics. If your group or organization is looking for a presenter to address problem-solving, conflict resolution, change management, and other conflict management topics, then contact us to see how we may assist you.

  • Training
    Conflict Connections, Inc. offers customized training and professional staff development to organizations. We undertake a needs assessment process with the group's stakeholders to identify the purpose and learning outcomes.
